This one's for everyone: starters and experts alike.
A personal approach enables participants to bring in any project they choose.
Change the lining of your favorite old coat, fix a zipper, transform your dress or create a unique piece all by yourself. Sweat Shop supplies all the scissors, switches and yarn you need, there are vintage and new patterns for rent and exclusive accessories and fabrics for sale.

KIDS WORKSHOP : Wednesday 2 - 4pm // Saturday 1 - 3pm
The workshop for children is all about themes, playing and learning. Get acquainted with knitting , crochet, manual sewing. Learn how to use a sewing machine or print on T-shirts, try tie and dye, patchwork, recycling and customizing.
From age 8, all inclusive.

WORKSHOP Mlle KOU : Once a month, sunday, 10am – 6pm // next: 26th of september and 24th of october
Mlle Kou, AKA Celine Dupuy, designer for Marie Claire idees introduces you to the world of sewing. Choose one of Mlle Kou's ultra easy patterns and take your finished piece home in the evening. Patterns are included but bring your own fabulous fabric!

WORKSHOP KNITTING : Tuesday 7 – 9pm
Whether amateur or pro, make sure to keep your tuesday nights free and join us for some knitting in a relaxed atmosphere. A knitwear designer is around to help you realize your dream. BERGERE DE FRANCE presents a fine selection of wool and products.

WORKSHOP CUSTOM : Sunday 1.5 - 4pm
Personalize your wardrobe using a wide array of themes and techniques. Drive nails into your perfecto, put some rock‘n’roll in your jeans and bring old t-shirts back from the dead.

PATCH-UP YOUR ENGLISH : Wednesday 7pm - 9pm
An original way to improve your English.
Patchwork + English conversation
As you learn how to make a patchwork cushion or blanket, you will be encouraged to chat with the people around you… but strictly in English!
During the class you will learn how to make your own patchwork and how to use the sewing machines, but as you converse in English, your mistakes will be corrected, you will have help with vocabulary and of course we will be working on your accents! Two lessons in One! (Read more)

SWEAT SHOP "à la carte"
No need to make an appointment, just drop by at any given time, sit down and make something on the spot. Depending on your budget and time, choose a "kit" off our Sweat Shop Menu and create a bag, accessories or decorative objects.

Every two months Sweat Shop presents a guest designer who will honor us with a visit to present his/her work and talk about his/her take on creation. The DIY kit, put together by the designer, includes everything you need to make your own exclusive designer piece , signed, hand numbered and absolutely unique.
